PaperCut FollowMe Printing Issues

Resolution:

Issues with settings in another system that impacted printing were identified and resolved Friday. All PaperCut FollowMe MFDs were back online and operating normally late Friday. Print jobs sent that did not release from a unit were cleared from the print queue and will need to be re-printed if needed. Jobs cleared were not charged. If a non-FollowMe network printer still appears to not print, power the printer off for a minute and then turn it back on to restore its network connection. An issue that is imapcting FollowMe printing and non-FollowMe printing was identified this morning that may continue to impact the release of print jobs for a short period of time. You may be able to login to a FollowMe MFD, see your jobs listed, and then release them. However, the MFD itself may not print. This does not seem to be a permanent issue. If the FollowMe MFD is powered off for a minute and then powered back on, the issue appears to resolve. Anything that was already attempted to be printed at that FollowMe MFD while in this affected state may still release when restarted. LTS is investigating the issue more and may have identified the problem. LTS will determine steps to prevent any future issues. Also, a reminder that with recent changes to the FollowMe MFD configuration, there are extended periods of time between the print of individual jobs if you are accustomed to using the Print All option.
