Onedrive Sign-In Cannot Type Email

Resolution:

Microsoft released Onedrive Client version 24.076.0414.0005 which fixed the issue. This version was deployed to campus 5/1/2024

Original message:

ISSUE: OneDrive login - users can't type email address into login prompt after starting OneDrive from start menu. Keyboard will work fine otherwise on the computer.

SOLUTION:
I am investigating this issue but I have not found a permanent fix yet.  Reading online it looks like the version of OneDrive that was released by Microsoft this month broke this (lots of users reporting the same issue).

The easiest workaround I have for now is that when the OneDrive login prompt is open on the screen you can just click anywhere else (desktop background, start menu, etc) then click back into the OneDrive prompt and it will allow you to type.
