Network Maintenance - Nursing

Resolution:

The issues were resolved around 10am.

Original message:

Preemptive network maintenance was required in Nursing this morning, as a result from the power outage(s) yesterday afternoon. This maintenance was needed to to avoid, longer, unplanned service interruptions.

SQL Server database maintenance

A SQL Server database server will be unavailable from 4:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. on Friday, June 21 for routine maintenance. Please contact Brian Stangel at stangebj@uwec.edu with any questions or concerns.

Network Maintenance

Network Maintenance - HSS

To avoid unplanned service interruptions, preemptive network maintenance or upgrades are required in HSS. The maintenance will occur outside of listed building hours.

Shibboleth Upgrade

The Shibboleth login service will be upgraded at 5am on Friday, June 7th. The upgrade will take five to ten minutes, and services may be briefly interrupted during the upgrade. No action is required for client applications.

Microsoft has fixed the issues for people accessing SharePoint and OneDrive services.

Network Maintenance - Brewer/Zorn

Preemptive network maintenance is required in Brewer/Zorn. This is to avoid, longer, unplanned service interruptions. Maintenance is currently scheduled with a vendor after 3pm, Monday, March 25th. Brief (5-10 min) network interruptions may occur while troubleshooting.
