Due to complications during an update, authoring on the new CommonSpot environment is unavailable. Additionally, stories located within http://www.uwec.edu/news/stories/ are also unavailable. We are working to resolve these problems as quickly as possible, and we apologize for the inconvenience.

The server MEDIA03 is back online. All services are now available
One of the primary web application servers (hosting web applications at *.apps.uwec.edu) experienced an outage at 4:38 p.m. on Thursday, April 30. The problem was resolved and service was restored at 5:12 p.m. No further problems are anticipated.
The server MEDIA03 is currently unavailable. Services unavailable at this time due to this outage are:

3. Archive Drive

A message will be sent out when services are restored.
Due to a software bug, an emergency patch and restart of networking services will be performed at 4:45pm. This will affect DHCP and DNS services. There is redundancy with these services, so service interruptions should be minimal. However, for ~15 minutes, you may still experience brief periods of unreachable web pages or delays joining the network. This maintenance is to prevent a potentially much longer service outage. Thank you for your understanding.

The streaming media portal will be unavailable 5-7AM on Friday, April 24th while it is being updated.
Various maintenance tasks will cause wireless network connectivity and services to be interrupted Friday morning between 4am and 7am.
ImageNow and WebNow will be unavailable between 10:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. on Monday, April 6 to allow for a database hotfix to be installed.
BP Logix (eForms) will be unavailable for routine database maintenance between 4:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. on Friday, April 10.
CampS will be down for security patches between 4:00am-5:00am on Friday, March 27th.

Email services will be unavailable from 4a-7a on Friday, March 13, 2015.
ImageNow and WebNow will be unavailable for use for the duration of Friday, March 27 to accommodate a system upgrade. After the upgrade, ImageNow and WebNow will largely appear and act the same as it did before the upgrade. If the upgrade will result in significant changes in the way you use the system, you will receive additional information.
If you have the ImageNow Client installed on your computer, it will be automatically upgraded on Friday, March 27, as well. This upgrade will run silently in the background on your computer. You are free to use your computer normally throughout the day.
On Friday March 6th, we will be running windows updates and installing CommonSpot patches on all production servers.
We will also be restricting access to our production CommonSpot authoring servers (author.uwec.edu/www2.uwec.edu) from off campus.
If you wish to author from off campus, you will need to Remote Desktop to your work pc or you can use Lab Anywhere.
