PaperCut FollowMe Printing Service Interuption

Resolution:

The temporary bypass to the other system that was causing FollowMe MFD login issues has been removed, and services have been returned to a normal operating state. Please report any printing related issues to helpdesk@uwec.edu or by calling them at (715) 836-5711.

Original message:

PaperCut Printing Services are operational again. An issue with another system PaperCut utilizes was causing login issues to FollowMe MFDs. We are currently bypassing that additional system to allow printing to function. This will not impact anyone's print, copy, or scan capabilities while the other system is unavailable.

Canvas Sign-on Not Working

There is currently an outage affecting Canvas access across all Universities of Wisconsin. This issue is due to a problem with the Single Sign-On (SSO) system, which is preventing users from logging into Canvas.

Our IT teams are working diligently to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. We understand the importance of Canvas for your academic activities and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

HPC - BOSE/OnDemand - Unplanned Outage

Resolution:

BOSE and Open OnDemand is operational again for all classes utilizing the HPC environment. Due to reduced capacity, research use remains limited, and a separate email will be sent out to researchers when everything is fully back up and running.

The BOSE supercomputing cluster is currently undergoing an unplanned outage due to a partial hardware failure. The high-performance computing (HPC) team is working to resolve the issue to bring it back online. Please direct any questions to BGSC.ADMINS@uwec.edu.
