VoIP Telephone System Maintenance

We will be updating some of the services with our telephone system tomorrow afternoon from 1:00 PM to 4:00 pm. We are not expecting any service interruptions, but there may be some spotty outages.

Transact Maintenance

University Centers will be upgrading their Transact system Tuesday afternoon, 3/22, resulting in most systems working offline for 4-5 hours. Credit cards processing and barcode scanners will not function during this outage however POS devices and door locks will continue to work offline with any updates being delayed until the system is back online.

CampS will be down for maintenance from 4am to 8am on Saturday, March 19

Wireless Network Maintenance

Friday 3/4/2022 - Maintenance updates on the wireless network infrastructure will be implemented Friday between 4 - 7 am causing multiple wireless network outages during that timeframe. This includes the UWEC Barron County campus as well as the UWEC main campus.

BOSE Cluster - SLURM not functioning with default MySQL DB/Logging engine

The BOSE Cluster is currently back up and running. Should you experience any further issues with the BOSE Cluster, please report them to BGSC.ADMINS@uwec.edu.

The BOSE Cluster is currently configured to use a work around solution temporarily until the issue with MySQL terminating is resolved. Job requests may not function as expected.

Blugold High Performance Cluster Maintenance - BOSE

This is a planned outage.

To avoid unplanned service interruptions in the future, preemptive maintenance and s/w upgrades are being applied to the BOSE cluster. The maintenance will be on going and will extend for the three days. During this outage, all BOSE cluster users are asked to use the BGSC2 cluster or defer cluster use until the maintenance is complete.
