A problem has been identified which causes macOS computers to produce errors when sending print jobs to HP printers. This is due to a problem with the macOS security framework incorrectly identifying HP printer drivers as malware. This may trigger an error message identifying the software as a security risk, not allow the print job to leave the printer queue, and/or simply result in the print job not actually printing. We're currently waiting on a solution from Apple. In the meantime, printing is still available to all FollowMe printers and department copiers. LTS is aware of an issue that may be preventing Mac OS users from using FollowMe print services and are actively working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. Other operating systems and devices do not appear to be impacted. Students and employees impacted by this issue can still print using a smart phone, other Windows computers in labs, or by connecting to the Virtual Lab.
