To avoid unplanned service interruptions, preemptive network maintenance or upgrades are required in Centennial Hall. The maintenance will occur outside of listed building hours.
Resolution:
FollowMe services are functioning again. LTS has not determined the root cause of this reoccurring issue. This only appears to be impacting mobility print users which are generally everything but Windows users. If this issue occurs again, FollowMe services may be unavailable for an extended period of time while working through troubleshooting steps with product support to narrow down the root cause and provide the necessary support information to PaperCut. Apologies in advance for any future outages that may occur until the proper fix is in place.

Perceptive Content (ImageNow) will be down for server maintenance between 4:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. on Friday, February 26.
Resolution:
The FollowMe printing services were restarted and appear to be functioning again. Any Ricoh FollowMe MFD that may be stating retrying to connect to the server should resolve on its own. You can also try tapping an ID to login to force a refresh or power off the MFD and restart it.

All PaperCut FollowMe MFDs will be offline during software maintenance the morning of Monday, December 28th, 2020 between the hours of 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Units will be unable to print, scan, or copy until staff get to each unit for an update performed on each MFD for security changes.
Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (Computer Re-imaging and Software Center) will be down on December 28th from 6am -12pm. Software center on Windows computers will be non-functional during this outage. Please contact the LTS help desk for any urgent software installs.

LTS will be migrating multiple backend databases; that could cause the eforms server to be down for a period of time. Everything will be back up by 7:00AM Friday morning
Resolution:
Apple and HP has resolved the problem and updated security information is currently being distributed directly from Apple. If you continue to have problems, please contact the LTS Help Desk at 715-836-4091.
Original message:
A problem has been identified which causes macOS computers to produce errors when sending print jobs to HP printers. This is due to a problem with the macOS security framework incorrectly identifying HP printer drivers as malware. This may trigger an error message identifying the software as a security risk, not allow the print job to leave the printer queue, and/or simply result in the print job not actually printing. We're currently waiting on a solution from Apple. In the meantime, printing is still available to all FollowMe printers and department copiers.
