Various maintenance tasks will cause network connectivity and services to be interrupted Friday morning between 4am and 7am.

The streaming media portal will be unavailable between 5-7AM on Friday, November 14th for updates. This will be the last set of updates to the system until the Fall semester is over.
After the updates are installed users may need to clear their browser and Adobe Flash cache. Please contact the LTS Help Desk at 836-5711 or helpdesk@uwec.edu with questions.

Shortly after 10PM CT we were informed that the Blue Jeans service should be operating normally again.
Sometime mid-morning the Blue Jeans service became unavailable to most, if not all Blue Jeans customers. They are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and the issue is out of UWEC's hands. You can attempt to see the status of the service at status.bluejeans.com, but the site may also be overwhelmed with customers checking. When the service returns an update will go out.

UWEC users were experiencing sporadic connection failures to their email, due to problems with one of the Webmail/Outlook email servers. The problems were resolved around 7:25a today.
The streaming media portal will be unavailable between 6-7AM on Friday, October 10th during routine maintenance.

There is currently a state-wide issue with Internet connectivity. People may experience difficulty loading some or all websites. There is currently no estimate as to when network connectivity will return to normal.
Access to playing most of the on-demand video files from the streaming media portal have been restored. Another update will follow when it is confirmed all videos are available.
Sometime during the evening of Sept 10th all on-demand video content in the streaming media portal became unavailable for an undetermined reason and remains unavailable at this time. Live video streaming remains unaffected. LTS is working to restore access to on-demand video content as quickly as possible.
We are hearing reports of H: & S: drive slowness and we are in the process of contacting our vendor's support services.
As of 2:10 pm today, D2L performance is sluggish. You may also encounter errors. Learn@UW technologists at UW-Madison have been notified and are investigating.
D2L service is now functioning normally again. The cause of the problem is not known. Learn@UW technologists continue to investigate.
D2L service appears to function again.
However, Learn@UW technologists do not feel the service is stable and continue working on it.

D2L is currently down for all UW campuses. Learn@UW technologists at UW-Madison are investigating but have not yet determined the cause.

Educators, please activate the D2L courses you will be using for instruction this fall. Activation instructions are available here: http://www.uwec.edu/LTS/services/software/d2l-faculty/activate.htm.
Activating D2L courses puts the links to those courses in your students' course listings. Students will see the link but will not be able to enter the course until the course start date, September 2 for most fall courses.
