This Friday, Feb 3rd, a firmware update is being applied to the disk controllers connected to the VMware cluster and STAFF/STUDENT file servers. This means STAFF, STUDENTS, and all the VMs listed below will be unavailable for a short period of time during the normally scheduled maintenance window.

D2L will be upgraded to version 9.4.1 tonight -- beginning 10:00 pm (Wednesday, January 11) and ending 10:00 am tomorrow (Thursday, January 12).
D2L will be completely unavailable during this 12-hour outage.
The following major servers and services will be unavailable Friday, January 13, 2012, from 4a - 7a:
1. Printing in all offices and labs
2. DHCP network services
3. SMTP services
4. Student and Staff H: drives
5. Student and Staff department and academic drives (S: and W:)
6. Virtual Desktops/Labs(VDIservices)
