Resolution:
The necessary fix was applied to the Transact card system and all dependent systems should be back to normal operations.

An unplanned outage of the Transact card access system for a critical update will have impacts on accepting credit cards at some locations, door access, and logging into PaperCut FollowMe MFDs. Centers is working with the vendor to resolve the issue and anticipates resolution within an hour.
The PaperCut FollowMe printing system will be updating on Friday, February 3rd from 5:00AM to 7:00AM. During this time all FollowMe MFDs will be unavailable for printing. Some units may be available for use earlier than 7:00AM.

At this time, the Kaltura/My Media "Major Outage" has been resolved. Please reach out to the LTS helpdesk (helpdesk@uwec.edu) if you are still experiencing issues such as not being able to play captions, not being able to play a video, or not seeing videos in your My Media account.

Kaltura/My Media is experiencing an unplanned "Major Outage" outage that is affecting users' ability to use all Kaltura services including video playback, recording, upload, and editing appears to be disrupted. This outage appears to impact both the Mediaspace video portal and Kaltura's Canvas integration.

We are currently experiencing a problem with several Blugold Card scanning capabilities on campus, this could and will affect several locations where a Blugold card is used. We are working with the vendor to resolve the problem.

this has been applied at 12:30 PM on 12/4/2022,
These changes will have minor affects to users, the base profile was changed
Most users should see only minor visual changes
